UChicago has software license agreements with a range of vendors to provide departments with free or reduced-cost academic and productivity tools. If there's a software package you think might be of common interest, but you don't see it listed here, send your suggestions to the IT Services Software Licensing team at licensing@uchicago.edu.

The On-Premises licenses can be downloaded at no cost by faculty and staff from the University of Chicago or UChicago Medicine. The licenses can be installed on only computers owned by the University, or UChicago Medicine, and only on work-at-home computers. The Desktop Bundle licenses are not intended for personal computer use. At no cost, you may install Microsoft 365 (portal.office.com) on computers owned by the University, or UChicago Medicine, and on work-at-home computers. |
