Turn on and use simple report filters when viewing a BI Launch Pad report. Keep in mind that you can filter on multiple dimensions, but if you choose values that do not occur together in the data, the report will display no data. Also, turning off the Simple Report Filter toolbar doesn't turn off the filters. Simple report filters are stored with the report when you save it (so leave the toolbar turned on if you want to save it with filters).

1. On the toolbar, select Filter Bar.
2. Select Click icon to add simple report filters.
   
3. Select a filter type from the drop-down menu. In this example, DIV/SCH/COLL Description is highlighted.
   
4. Select the parameter for your filter or select (Remove) to discard the dimension as a filter. In this example, the Humanities Division is selected.
