All IP Space discussed in this document is recognized as belonging to UChicago. To avoid conflicting use of IP addresses, IT Services maintains the sole right of allocation and assignment of this IP space.
Any use of public or private IP space, even when such space is unattached or not connected directly to the UChicago network, must be coordinated with IT Services Networking. Please contact IT Services if you are using or would like to use any IP space listed in this document.

These IP ranges may be used for any host or service on campus. Hosts in this space are publicly reachable via the Internet.
128.135.0.0/16 – addresses between 128.135.0.0 and 128.135.255.255 - Public
205.208.0.0/17 – addresses between 205.208.0.0 and 205.208.127.255 - Public
192.170.192.0/19 - addresses between 192.170.192.0 and 192.170.223.255 - Public
This IP range may be used for any service on the Science DMZ. Hosts in this space are publicly reachable via the Internet and while considered outside the campus border, have full access to all campus resources, including RFC1918 space (Private Networks).
192.170.224.0/19 - addresses between 192.170.224.0 and 192.170.255.255 - Public
These IP ranges may be used for any host or service on campus. Hosts in this space are not publicly reachable via the Internet. Some hosts may be configured to reach Internet resources via NAT/PAT.
10.0.0.0/8 – addresses between 10.0.0.0 and 10.255.255.255 - Private
