You can hide a column of data in a table or crosstab in a Webi report form and still leave it available for sorting and filtering.

Note: If a report uses a particular data object for a sort or a calculation, you must not delete that data object from the table. If you delete data objects, data sorts using those objects will disappear and you may encounter calculation errors in the report. See Troubleshoot a #Computation Error for further information.

However, you can hide data objects from view without actually removing them from the table or crosstab. Only hide dimension or detail objects, not measure objects.

1. While in Design Mode, right-click on the column you want to hide.
2. Select Hide > Hide Column from the pop-up menu.
   
3. To show hidden objects, right-click outside of the table or crosstab. Select Show All Hidden Content.
