Avoid Duplicate Row Aggregation in Business Objects

When using tables in a report, data is aggregated by default (measures are summed) when all dimensional and detail values are the same for a set of rows. To see the individual detailed rows, you have to separate the aggregated measures. There are two ways to do this.

Assign Unique Values to Each Row to Differentiate Them

Add a field to the table that differentiates the rows of data using unique values.

Adjust the Table Formatting

To change the formatting of the table:

  1. Open the report and then change the menu from Reading to Design.

  2. Select the Show Main Panel icon.

  3. Select the Show Report Structure Icon.

  4. Select the Three dots and then choose Format.

  5. Select on Avoid Duplicate Aggregation.
