Link UChicago Box Documents to Canvas Content Areas for Instructors


In a few steps, you can create a link and share a document from your UChicago Box to a Canvas content area.

  1. In a Canvas content area, select the Box icon in the editing box.

  2. Select Select from Box. You may be prompted to log in. If so, enter your CNetID and password, then complete two-factor authentication if prompted.

  3. Choose the document you wish to share by selecting the option button on the right. In Choose Access Type, select People in this folder, and then select Choose.

  4. Select Save to save your content.

  5. You'll see a link to your UChicago Box document embedded in the content area.
