Outlook on the web (OWA) is part of the Microsoft 365 suite. It is an integrated messaging service designed for accessing your email from anywhere in the world. OWA is accessible at portal.office.com. Outlook on the web provides an experience almost identical to the desktop version of Outlook and is recommended for those who prefer to work within a browser. IT Services also recommends and supports the Outlook desktop app for Windows and Mac users.
To access the Outlook app on your iOS or Android mobile device, download the app and the installation instructions from Microsoft's knowledge article Outlook for iOS and Android Help.
When you claim your CNetID, an email address is created simultaneously. Upon completion of the claim process, you will be given an Outlook email account. See Email Overview at UChicago for more details.
To access Outlook on the web, you'll need to log in with your CNetID and password.
