All current students, faculty, and staff are eligible for and should be automatically provisioned to use UChicago Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) with the exception of people in organizations that are part of the Organized Health Care Arrangement (OHCA).
If you are part of OHCA but would like access to UChicago Google Workspace, you can request access at IT Services.
Individual departments at the University may have their own preferred email and calendaring tools. Check with your departmental administration before choosing UChicago Google Workspace as your collaboration tool.
The University only provides the following G Suite applications to eligible users:
Tip: When setting up your UChicago Google Workspace account, in most cases your username can be in the form of CNetID@uchicago.edu, except when someone else may have chosen an account name that is equivalent to your CNetID.
The University does not offer other Google Workspace services. If you need additional services, you must create a non-UChicago Google account.
