When logging into Tableau Server, if you have not already logged into another University service, you may be required to provide your CNetID and password and validate your identity with two-factor authentication.

1. Navigate to either Tableau Production Server (dataviz.uchicago.edu) or Tableau UAT Server (datavizuat.uchicago.edu/).
2. If you are asked to log in, provide your CNetID and password, then complete two-factor authentication if prompted.
3. After you log in, you will see your Tableau Server home screen with projects you have access to.

Note: In the event that your user session times out, a session timeout dialog box will appear. To log in again, select OK on the dialog box. As long as you do not close your browser or close all your tabs, your session will stay active. If you re-enter the URL in your browser, you will return to the Tableau Server home screen. If you have closed your browser, you will need to return to the login screen and resubmit your CNetID and password.
