Directory Reviewer: When You Give Up Your Role

This video, Directory Reviewer: When You Give Up Your Role, will show you what to do when you leave your role as Directory Reviewer. The following article is the transcript of the video if you would like to read a brief article with screenshots instead of watching the video.

If you are about to leave the University or switch to a different job that no longer requires you to act as the Directory Reviewer, you should make sure you are removed from all of your reviewer responsibilities.

  1. To begin, log in to the reviewers site at reviewers.uchicago.edu using your CNetID and password. Please complete two-factor authentication if necessary.
  2. Select View My Reviewees on the left side of your screen. This page lists all the individuals for whom you are the reviewer.

  3. Select the Remove from My Reviewees button for each individual. This will remove you as that person’s reviewer, remove you from the self-edit page for that person, and will ensure that you are no longer notified when they make self-edit changes or another reviewer makes changes to the listing.

  4. Once you have removed all your reviewees, go to the View My Departments/Divisions and View My Sub-Departments pages to do the same for your departments and sub-departments. Click the Remove from My Departments and Remove from My Sub-Departments button for each department and sub-department.

  5. Contact the Directory Office to let us know when your last official day is and to provide us with the name of your replacement so we can start that person on the Directory Reviewer Training if necessary.
