Box Collections enables you to create and name private collections of content in your UChicago Box account. When utilizing Box Collections, you can:
- Organize content into logical groupings.
- Gather your files and folder content into clean and meaningful groups that are visually pleasing and clear.
- Easily locate your content which makes it easier to share and collaborate with others.
- Turn the Collections view on and off if you don't prefer to use the functionality.

Create a New Collection
- In the left navigation panel, select the Plus sign (+) to the right of My Collections.

- Enter the name of your new collection in the pop-up window, then select Create.
- Drag folders and/or files into the collection.

Note: Data is only virtually assigned to a collection, which means, the data is not moved.
Remove Folders or Files from a Collection
- Select the collection.

- Select the square with three dots on the right for the file/folder you wish to remove.

- Unselect the Collection.
Note: This does not remove the file or folder but removes it from the collection only.
Remove a Collection
- Select the Collection you wish to remove.

- Select the square with three dots on the right.

- Select delete from the drop-down menu.

Note:
This only removes the collection, not the data in the collection.
