Keep in Mind
· To access the Workday Mobile App, users are required to have an active CNetID and password. Additionally, the application supports enhanced security measures, allowing it to utilize any biometric features currently embedded on a device, such as Face ID or a fingerprint scanner.
· Workday requires users to authenticate at the beginning of each new session.
· If employees are having issues logging into the Mobile App, they should first attempt to log in using the Desktop App. If that doesn't work, they should contact the F&A Knowledge and Support Center at (773) 702-5800, or submit an Ask a Human Resources Question request indicating they cannot access Workday.
· Employees can initiate and approve the following business processes (based on their role and security profile) in the Workday Mobile App:

· There is a slight difference in the user interface for an Apple device versus an Android device because Workday has two separate configurations to accommodate both operating systems.
· To enable certain actions via the Mobile App, Workday has adjusted the layout of some items, so they may appear differently in the Mobile App compared to the Desktop App.
· To prevent unauthorized access or misuse of sensitive data, features such as screenshots and storing contact information directly on your device from the application are disabled.
· Former employees will retain limited access to Workday until the end of April in the year following their termination. They can access certain information, such as the W2 form and Contact Information, and complete some post-termination tasks through both the Mobile and Desktop Apps.
Steps
1. Search for and download the Workday Mobile App from your device's application store (App Store for Apple devices, or Google Play for Android Devices).
2. Once installed, open the App, select the Log In button and enter the Organization ID. Either type in the ID in the Enter or scan your Organization ID field or select the QR Code icon to the right of this field to scan a code for access.
a. To find this information, log into the Workday Desktop version using your CNetID and password.
i. Select the Get the Workday Mobile App banner that pops up on the top-right corner of the page.
ii. If you don't see the Get the Workday Mobile App banner, from the Home page, select the person icon in the top-right corner of the page, choose My Account and then select Organization ID.
b. If prompted to manually enter the setup information, type in the following:
i. Tenant: Uchicago.
ii. Web Address: https://www.myworkday.com.
3. After entering the Organization ID or scanning the QR Code, enter your CNetID and password to sign into your UChicago account using Okta (Single Sign-On (SSO) protocol).
4. If desired, enable biometric features (Face ID or fingerprint) for a quicker way to log in. If not, select Skip on the top right side of the screen.
5. At this point, the Workday Mobile App is ready to be used. Navigate the application to view announcements, access My Tasks, view pay slips, manage time or absence transactions, etc.
a. Don't forget that the interface may look slightly different from the Desktop App, as certain elements have been adjusted for mobile use.
