Enable UChicago Box in Canvas (Instructors)

UChicago Box is the University's instance of Box.com. It is a cloud file storage and sharing tool similar to Google Drive. It allows you to create notes, spreadsheets, and Google Docs. Instructors can enable UChicago Box integration in Canvas. This integration allows course members to view documents in their UChicago Box account in Canvas. This is particularly useful for courses with file sizes over two gigabytes (2GB).

Follow these instructions to learn how to link to UChicago Box within a Canvas course.

  1. Log in to your course and select Settings at the bottom of the course navigation menu.
    ""
  2. Select Navigation to edit the course menu.
