The University offers Microsoft 365 OneDrive as a cloud-based file storage and backup solution. It is comparable to UChicago Drive and UChicago Box. OneDrive is available for free as part of the UChicago Microsoft Campus Agreement and can be installed on five devices or fewer. You can download the app from https://portal.office.com using your CNetID and password.

Features

When you use OneDrive, you can:

• Install it on a computer, tablet, or smartphone no matter what operating system you're using (e.g., Mac, Windows, Android, iOS).
• Share files with anyone, including individuals who are outside of the University.
• Back up your local folders, files, and photos for easy access from any location or computerized device.
• Store multiple types of files, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDFs, JPG, PNG.
• Collaborate on documents in real-time with others.
