FFIT - Receivables Transactions


Purpose

The following guide is intended for employees who are looking to view or complete any of the following actions:

· Answer business questions using the Receivables Transactions report in the FFIT Dashboard in Oracle

Terminology

· Transaction Line Description: Unique information for the purchase or transaction that is not included in other columns. Examples include business purpose for the transaction, dates, and reference numbers for corrections.

· Transaction Class: A way to classify transactions. You can use classes to classify your income and expenses by department, location, event, or any other meaningful breakdowns of the business.

Business Questions

· Where can you find the total line amounts per transaction number?

· View the transaction number information in the table

· View the grey row under the specified transaction number

· The total amount will be bolded and in grey under the Line Amount

· Where can I find the COA string information?

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to specified information

· View the Entity, Organization, Account, Fund, Purpose, Program, Activity, Site, Affiliate, and Future columns for the COA string information

· What is the transaction type?

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to specified information

· View the Transaction Type column
