  • View the Total AR Invoice Amount column in the Income table and the Expenditure Amount column in the Operating Expenses for the profit and loss for a specific program
• How do my gains and losses appear when compared to prior years?
  • View the year columns in both the Income and Operating Expenses tables to compare the gains and losses to prior years
• What is my profit and loss for a specific fiscal quarter?
  • Input a fiscal quarter into the Fiscal Quarter filter
  • View the Total AR Invoice Amount column in the Income table and the Expenditure Amount column in the Operating Expenses for the profit and loss for a specific fiscal quarter

 

Organization (Project Organization): the owning organization of the project, which can differ from the expenditure organizations on a project. The organization value reflects a specific Department and Section within the BSD.

• 26364-PED Critical Care

 

Program: the Program Value is a specific sub specialty within a given BSD Organization.

• 6114-Phase 1 Program
• 6097-Heart Failure Program
• 6116-Trans/Cell Therapy

 

Fiscal Period: fiscal Period specifies a particular month within the fiscal year (July – June).

 

Potential LOV (List of Values):

• Period 1 = July
• Period 2 = August
• Period 3 = September

 

Total AR Invoice Amount: found under the “Income” section of the P & L report. The AR Invoice Amount for a particular Organization or Program, reflects the earned clinical trial revenue for that area, also referred to as Clinical Trial Earnings.

 

Expenditure Type: found under the “Operating Expenses” section of the P & L report. The expenditure type is a classification of cost assigned to each expenditure item that will post to the clinical trial project.

This section of the Report shows the Profit or Loss for a particular department, section or program by taking the total earnings less total expenditures posted to date. 

 

1. Login to Oracle by selecting the Company Single Sign-On button.

2. Navigate to the Reports tab on the left side of the screen.

3. Select Shared with me.
4. Select the Clinical Research Management Dashboard. 

 

5. Select CRS Profit and Loss Statement hyperlink.           

 

 

 

To export a copy of the CRS P&L statement, click on the three dots in the top right hand corner of the dashboard.  Select “Export”:

After selecting “Export” set the output parameters of the report.  Output type will default to PDF, the Template field should be updated to “Single Page(Each dashboard tab in a page)”. The report will export successfully with either the “Portrait” or “Landscape” Layout:

 When the report is ready, you will find the link for the report in the download section of the Dashboard:
