• Answer business questions using the ARD Gift Funding Analysis report in the ARD Dashboard in Oracle

Terminology

• Net Activity: The change in the account balance from the last reconciliation performed.

Business Questions

• Can I filter for more than one Gift and Endowment Purpose?
  • Select the arrow in the Gift and Endowment Purpose filter
  • Select all values used for filter and click Apply
  • For a more detailed search Select Search…
    • Can type value
• Which gift/endowment purpose has the highest ending balance?
  • Navigate to the Ending Balance column in the table and click the downward facing arrow
    • Confirm the arrow is blue
  • View the first row
• What information is found per organization?
  • Utilize the Organization filter to narrow the table by specified organizations
  • View the table
• What were the donations per account?
  • Utilize the Account filter to narrow the table to specified accounts
  • View the Donations column in the table
• What is the difference between the beginning balance and ending balance for a specified gift?
  • Utilize the Gift and Endowment Purpose filter to narrow the table to a specified gift
  • View the Net activity column in the table
