Purpose

The following guide is intended for employees who are looking to view or complete any of the following actions:

· Answer business questions using the Financial Download Report in the Financial Services Dashboard in Oracle

Terminology

· Sponsor Name: The organization responsible for funding the award.

· CFDA Number: Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance – number assigned in the awarding document to most grants and cooperative agreements funded by the Federal government.

Business Questions

· Why is no data appearing?

· The Effective Date From and Effective Date To filters are required to have inputted information prior to the report being filled

· Who is the PI for the Award?

· Utilize the filters to narrow the search to specified awards

· Confirm the Effective Date From and Effective Date To filters have information

· View the Principal Investigator Name column in the table

· How much was the expense posted to the GL?

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified award

· View the Expense Balance Posted to GL column in the table

· What are my awards by organization?

· Utilize the Organization filter to narrow the table to a specified organization

· View the Award Number column in the table

· What is the COA string attached to the award?

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified award

· View the Entity, Organization, Account, Fund, Purpose, Program, Activity, Site, Affiliate, and Future columns for the COA string information
