• What are my expenses for a specific organization in a specific fiscal year?
  • Input an organization into the Organization filter
  • Input a fiscal year into the Fiscal Year/Period filter
  • View the Expenditure Amount column in the Expenses by Organization table
    • The dashboard will be filtered to the specified organization and fiscal year
  • Or – View the specific fiscal year columns in the Expenses by Organization table after filtering for an organization
• How do the expenses for a specific organization and PI compare to one another?
  • Input an organization or PI into the respective filter
  • Compare the expenses for the Organization and PI using both tables (Expenses by Organization and Expenses by PI)
• What are my expenses by PI for a specific project?
  • Input a project name or number into the respective filters
  • View the Expenses by PI table
• What are my expenditures by organization?
  • Input an organization into the Organization filter
  • View the Expenses by Organization table

 

Project Organization: The owning organization of the project, which can differ from the expenditure organizations on a project. 

 

Potential LOV (List of Values): 

• • 26220-MED Hematology & Oncology
  • 26241-NEU Neurology
  • 26364-PED Critical Care 

 

Expenditure Organization: Organization which actually incurred the expense, not necessarily the same organization as the project owning organization

 

Program: A Program is a subspecialty of clinical research studies within an Organization.

 

Fiscal Year: Fiscal Year specifies a particular year spanning July – June, not to be confused with calendar year. Fiscal Period specifies a month within the fiscal year (July – June).

 

Potential LOV (List of Values):

• Period 1 = July
• Period 2 = August
• Period 3 = September

 

Fiscal Quarter: Fiscal Quarter specifies a quarter within the current fiscal year

 

Potential LOV (List of Values):

• Q1 = July-September
• Q2 = October-December
• Q3 = January-March
• Q4 = April-June

 

1. Login to Oracle by selecting the Company Single Sign-On button       

2. Navigate to the Reports tab on the left side of the screen.

3. Select Shared with me.
4. Select the Clinical Research Management Dashboard. 

 

5. Select CRS Expenses by Organization and PI hyperlink.
