Install Managed Print Driver for Mac


Follow the instructions below to install the managed print driver on your Mac device.

  1. To install the printer driver, the device must be connected to UChicago cVPN or on the University campus network.
  2. Open Finder.
  3. Navigate to the Applications Folder.
  4. Select the Application titled Self Service.

  5. When Self Service opens, search for the driver by typing in “Papercut Print Deploy Secure Print Driver”.

  6. Select the Install button to install the Papercut Print Deploy Software.

  7. After installation of the software is completed, a Papercut Print Deploy client window will open.
  8. Login with your CNetID and password.

  9. After logging in, the printer will be automatically installed.

  10. Verify the printer is installed by looking for the “SecurePrint” printer destination when printing, or in the Printers and Scanners settings page on the Mac.
