Eligible

The following categories of University employees and affiliates are currently eligible for Claude Enterprise, with some further restrictions noted below:

• Full-time University employees
• Part-time University employees who are benefits-eligible
• Emeritus faculty
• Postdoctoral Fellows and Scholars
• Senior and Distinguished Fellows
• Clinical Associates

We do not anticipate granting exceptions to the eligibility criteria above at this stage.

 

Students will become eligible prior to the beginning of the Autumn Quarter 2026.

 

Not Eligible

• Part-time University employees who are not benefits-eligible
• Lab School faculty, students and staff
• Temporary employees with a "t-9" email address
• Contingent employees with a UChicago email address
• Affiliates
• Argonne and Fermi employees with part-time appointments
• Hong Kong campus faculty, students and staff

If you are currently ineligible but would like to make a case for access, we encourage you to contact your leadership and have them submit an exception request with a valid business justification using the Claude Enterprise Support Request form.
