This template is used to document your department's approval of allowing a candidate to start the hire process before the background check clearance.
The letter must be on department letterhead with the appropriate signatures (i.e., AVP of HR or department/unit head). This completed letter must be saved in the Attachments tab on the Candidate's Profile in Workday. Once the letter has been uploaded, inform the Recruitment and Retention Specialists Team by typing a comment in the Workday Activity Stream. Be sure to use the tag feature to tag the specific Recruitment and Retention Specialist.
Note: Prior to the exception being applied, the candidate must be "In Progress" stage with the vendor (GIS). Please inform the candidate to look for an email from the vendor and take action to move the process along.
