An individual can move a Cisco VoIP phone to an active VoIP building, requiring no field visit or charge. If, however, an individual relocates to a building without VoIP service, moves to a non-VoIP desk location, or would like a field visit to move a VoIP phone, a charge will apply.
There is no service fee for requests to move, add, change, or delete accounts if the request can be completed by making simple software changes, requires no field technician site visit, and does not require the purchase or assignment of a device or software license.

Applies to new jack installations. Under the Universal Wiring Plan, each jack is capable of having two outlets for both voice and data.

This applies to phone moves, additions, and changes that require a technician site visit, a device purchase, or assigning a device or software license. Moving a traditional IBX phone requires a site visit to move infrastructure cables in order to provide service. IT Services will require the authorized approver's request or approval before work begins.
