To reduce or cancel your student loan or obtain further information on student loan reduction or cancellation, contact your office of financial aid.

 

If your loan has already been disbursed, and you have received a subsequent refund of the credit balance, please note the following:

 

• Direct Deposit - If your refund of credit balance was issued via direct deposit, no action is required until the loan reduction/cancellation has been processed by your The Office of Financial Aid..   Once the loan reduction/cancellation is processed it will be reflected on your student account.  You may repay your credit balance refund at that time using any student account payment methods.
• Paper Check - If your credit balance refund was issued paper check, you may cash/deposit your check.  Once the loan reduction/cancellation is processed it will be reflected on your student account. You may repay your credit balance refund at that time using any student account payment methods.
