Keep in Mind

· Due to the implementation of Workday in January 2015, payslips issued prior to 1/1/2015 are no longer available.

Accessing Your Payslip Steps

1. Log into Workday using your CNetID and password.

2. Select Menu in the top-left corner and choose the Benefits and Pay App.

3. In the Benefits and Pay panel on the left side of the screen, select Pay, and then select Payments.

a. If the Benefits and Pay panel is collapsed:

i. Use the Navigation Pane icon, represented by an arrow next to a vertical line, and located at the top left corner of the App, to expand or collapse the panel and adjust screen space.

ii. Alternatively, with the panel collapsed, select the Pay icon, represented by a wallet, and choose Payments from the available options.

4. At the top of the page are three buttons:

a. Compare Period – Compare two different pay periods. Review the Country (required), Period 1, and Period 2 fields for accuracy. If needed, use the Hamburger Menu (icon with three dots followed by three dashes) to override any of the pre-populated information and then select OK.

i. A side-by-side table will appear and includes each pay period’s individual Earnings and Deductions.

ii. The table columns include the specific Earning or Deduction, Pay Period 1, Pay Period 2, and Change Amount.

1. Change Amount column indicates any difference in values between the two pay periods. Any Earning or Deduction that has a change in value from one pay period to another will display either an arrow pointing up (for an increase in charges) or an arrow pointing down (for a decrease in charges) as well as the amount that has changed.

b. Pay History – View pay history for a specific period. Review and modify the Country (required), From Payment Date, and To Payment Date fields using the Hamburger Menu (icon with three dots followed by three dashes) and then select OK.

i. At the top of the screen is a display of dynamic and interactive charts for each pay period.

1. These charts respond to cursor movements. Hover over components like data points and axis labels to highlight specific sections and reveal extra insights related to the data. To customize the chart, select the Configure icon, represented by a set of sliders, and located in the upper right corner of the worklet. To enlarge a specific area of the chart, utilize the Zoom In function, which becomes available when hovered over the graph. This function is represented by a dotted-line square icon with a magnifying glass in the bottom right corner.

ii. Below the charts is a table that displays data corresponding to the charts. Some data is hyperlinked. Selecting these hyperlinks will open a drill-down report with detailed information that contributes to the total number or value shown in the table.

c. Earnings/Deductions History – view earnings and/or deductions for a specific period. Review and modify the Country (required), From Payment Date, and To Payment Date fields using the Hamburger Menu (icon with three dots followed by three dashes). Add up to six earnings and/or deductions in the corresponding Earnings/Deductions fields and then select OK.
